is currently seeking a Financial Analyst (Analyst, Financial) to join the Melville Headquarters.
This individual researches, plans and evaluates the effectiveness of processes, systems, procedures or methodologies through review and evaluation of detailed data.
A developing professional, working towards full proficiency in the job role.
Receives general instruction from manager on expected work outcomes and exercises good judgment in day-to-day matters.
Typically reports to a Manager or Senior Manager, but may report to a senior professional individual contributor when business needs dictate.
Responsibilities- Coordinating the budget/forecast process for Canon's Latin American business, analyzing budget/actual difference- Work with the F/A HQ to close the monthly closing in a timely and accurate manner- Preparing accurate monthly reports with financial analysis/background, liaising with the product group (business)- Perform SOX PMO function for the LAG business- Support various projects such as BI (Business Intelligence ) projects to enhance the data base functionality Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeor equivalent experience required- 3
years of related experience in forecasting of market conditions and sales growth- Knowledge of general accounting principles, budgeting and computer systemsThe company will not pursue or support visa sponsorship for this position.
