Director Supply Chain

A key member of the site leadership team management team develops and implements best business processes based in advanced principles of MRPII and supply chain management.
Directs, manages and implements activities related to forecasting, production planning, purchasing and warehouse & logistics for the sites.
Works interdepartmentally in order to build relationships and communications throughout the company and partner organizations. Leads and integrates supply chain functions among the site and other supply chain stakeholders
Ensures the ERP system is properly updated and maintained assuring production and shipping schedules are met.
Leads strategy in determining solutions to complex supply issues.
Reviews in-house production plans to ensure plans support manufacturing capacities and scheduling requirements, interfacing with appropriate site support functions.
Evaluates and refines the supply chain strategy and develop the plan to achieve agreed strategy factoring both near term and long term business considerations.
Directs purchase of materials to support production plans and supplies related to manufacturing activities.
Develops, implements, audits and maintains policies and procedures to ensure materials are available to support manufacturing schedules in a cGMP environment.
Supports Quality Operations in conducting investigations into supply anomalies and laboratory results that do not meet expected results.
Evaluates work in progress and makes real-time decisions concerning actions to be taken in response to unexpected manufacturing events.
Evaluates and refines the organizational structure and resources needed, recruits, manages, directs performance management and oversees the training and development of the Planning, Warehouse, and Materials Management team (Procurement).
Prepares and adheres to department budgets.
Adheres to all applicable procedures, cGMP's, company policies, and all other quality or regulatory requirements (OSHA, DEA, FDA, EMEA, ANVISA, HS&E, etc.). Ensures all work is performed in a safe, effective manner, and in compliance with the appropriate industry and regulatory (FDA, DEA, OSHA) standards, and Departmental, Plant, and Corporate quality and Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) goals.
Supports all inspections conducted by government agencies or internal auditors, and assure that all actions are conducted in accordance with. Follows company policies and procedures with a heightened sense of compliance risk management. Minimum requirements Bachelor's Degree in Materials Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline, MBA preferred.
APICS CSSP or CPIM certification preferred.
Career progression with pharmaceutical or consumer health companies where supply management is a well-developed, strategically significant management function.
Oversight responsibility and direct experience in strategic materials procurement, production planning and logistics of at least 15 years.
Domestic and international supply chain management experience preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
