Inventory Management Data Analyst

Summary:
Controls Supply Chain data requirements, including creation, analyzing, reporting, processing and management of same. The focus covers all current and future technologies, as well as supporting both internal and external customer databases. Chair all Supply Chain ad hoc reporting, development of databases and reports, and research to ensure timely availability of all informational needs to support business needs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develops reports from raw data from multiple sources and compiles same into meaningful working documents, using Access, Excel and Data Warehouse.
Works directly with Inventory Management, Supply Chain Operations, Transportation teams, and other internal and external Departments, as well as outside business partners.
Works closely with all stakeholders to ensure all information updates are accurate.
Develops internal tracking report formats to allow key metric tracking and reporting to management.
Trains Supply Chain TSM's on database applications and software issues where applicable.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required and assigned.

Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Experience:
3-5 years hands on daily PC usage of Outlook, Microsoft Office products, including heavy use of Access and Excel with emphasis on information gathering, export and import of data and report creation.
Experience working with supply chain data is highly desired.
Experience working with with business intelligence tools, including creating dashboards and predictive analytics is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field with heavy emphasis on PC skills, or the equivalent knowledge required.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Advanced PC skills
In depth knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and Office Developer's toolkit.
Working knowledge of Monarch data mapping software
Working knowledge of ODBC and file transfer (AS400 to PC) applications
Working knowledge of AS400 files structure and layout.
Working Knowledge of Data warehouse
DB2 Web query a plus
Strong communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and daily tasks

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
