Specialist, Clinical Informatics (Clinical Data Integration)

Providesenterprise or departmental information systems support to Health Systemclinicians in the use of clinical information systems (interdisciplinary andspecialty EMRs) as assigned. Assesses workflow related processes/ requirements tofacilitate system enhancements andmodifications. Recommends, implements, and supports approvedsystem optimizations.
1. Collaborateswith management and clinicians in designing, implementing and maintainingclinical systems. Assists in thedevelopment of design specifications in support of new or modified clinicalapplications, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
2. Documentscurrent processes to establish a baseline for developmental improvements offuture workflows. Analyzes, recommends and assists with implementing new andimproved processes and workflows.
3. Actsas a liaison and represents the system users/customers in all projectinitiatives. Performs post-implementation monitoring of adoption and use.
4. Participatesin interdisciplinary and process improvement teams to identify potential usesof the information systems and potential optimization of current use ofsystems.
5. Supportsthe integration and use of evidence-based methods, tools, and guidelines linkedto effective outcomes.
6. Supports data analytics, including quality of caremeasures, to improve population health outcomes and global health. Supportsclinical staff in the real time application of information to change healthcaredelivery and affect patient outcomes.
7. Actsas a liaison to clinically related committees (i.e. Nursing Institute,Institute for Clinical Excellence, Medication Safety committee, Evidence-BasedResearch committee, etc.) and staff to coordinate and communicate CIS projectsand outcomes measurement.
8. Appraisescomputer and informational technologies for their applicability to nursingpractice problems.
9. Performsrelated duties, as required.
Bachelor'sDegree in Nursing,Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, Allied Health, Information Systems or relatedfield, required. Masters Degree,preferred.
Currentlicensure as appropriate (i.e. RN, NP, PA, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, orother related clinical license), required.
Minimumof five (5) years directly related clinical experience, healthcare informaticsor healthcare operations, including leadership, and/or education, required.
Experience working with SQL as it applies to DATA (manipulation/cleansing/massaging/quality) strongly preferred.
Astrong customer service focuswith the ability to develop effective working relationships, required.
Current knowledge of clinicalpractices and related information systems and computer applications,required.
Maintains current knowledge of trendsand advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics, as well as newdevelopments and innovations in hardware and software technology.
Demonstrated initiative, problem identification,resolution and analytical skills areessential, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
