We are looking for a full-time Production Support Specialist to join our Network Operations Center team in Melville.
The right individual will bring "Customer First" to life by providing first level support to on site operators in troubleshooting real time video recording and analysis software and hardware in a sporting environment.
This position will assist in analyzing and resolving technical issues with specialized programs running on computer hardware systems at various client campuses.
Taking ownership for resolving technical issues, listening to our customers' needs and contributing to self-service technical resources are all critical to success in this position.
During baseball season this position may include days, evenings and weekends.
Must be willing to travel as required.
oUse interactive tools including phone, chat, email and salesforce to provide customer support.
oAbility to interact with all levels of customers and escalate complex issues when appropriate.

Required Skills oMust be able to work flexible hours, including weekends in the office and onsite as required.
oPursuing a degree in IT or a related field or equivalent experience.
oMust have solid hardware experience.
Experience building and troubleshooting systems.
A+ certification is a plus.
oKnowledgeable in diagnosing/fixing/troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
oKnowledge of basic Networking, TCP/IP and Windows file sharing.
oKnowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows XP and/or Windows 7.
oKnowledge of video cameras is a plus.
oSports enthusiast, knowledge of BASEBALL.
oKnowledge of basic Networking is a plus.
oPassionate about customers and helping reach their goals.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
