Bilingual Japanese/English Help Desk Support Engineer
A company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Help Desk Support Engineer with over one year work experience in a Help Desk Support role. Must speak, read and write Japanese language skill. Basic PC skills are required including Word, Excel, antivirus and Help Desk operations. Bachelor degree is required with computer coursework and/or degree is highly desirable. Must have valid Driver's license and car. This is a full time position, non exempt with excellent benefits including 401K.
Duties:
-Provide Help Desk support to Japanese and English speaking clients
-Act as point of contact to end-users for support and maintenance in desktop and server computing environments via phone and e-mail requests
-Support company's Japanese executives in all inquiries, issues or requested support on company's devices
-Handle network quality management; application performance, data transferring, standardizing work for firewalls, load balancer, etc
-Create manuals as needed
-Organize communication port settings and document information
-Assist end users in advanced or unknown MS office functions. If answer unknown, research the function and follow-up with individual with appropriate answer
-Support PC and blackberry issues; troubleshooting, installing software and VPN settings
Skills:
-Over one year work experience in a Help Desk Support role

-Ability to exercise independent judgment and basic reasoning skills
-Must have the ability to follow-through on requests and ensure requests are completed
-Willingness and flexibility to handle a variety of requests
Compensation: 20-25/hr, full time position, non exempt with excellent benefits including 401K
