Insurance and Financial Services Professional
A licensed financial services professional is responsible for:
Meeting and contacting new potential clients to discuss financial concerns and needs
Conducting information gathering meetings with clients
Analyzing client needs and presenting potential solutions
Providing on-going service to clients
Developing and implementing personal business and marketing plans
On-going development of professional skills and knowledge

Job Requirements:
Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
Outgoing personality with the ability to develop relationships
Fearless, positive attitude and willingness to be accountable for sales results
Organized, detail-oriented and excellent time-management skills

Must be willing to travel on a regular basis

Prior financial background a plus

Training:
On premise training provided
Pre-licensing not required but preferred
Sponsored training for the following licenses include: Life and Health, Series 6 and Series 63, Series 7
NYLIC University, the most comprehensive and well-respected training program in the industry

Constant Support:
During and after formal training, you will receive continuous assistance from your manager and peers in your region and across the country to help you succeed. On-site trainers and product consultants are available to you and this is coupled with an entire division within the company located in the Home Office dedicated to providing agents with prospecting and sales ideas, product knowledge and application.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
