We are currently looking for a Corporate Real Estate Manager to work out of our Melville, NY office.
In this critical position you will be responsible for development and tracking of overall Zurich in North America and Farmers Real Estate strategy to include development of footprint strategies. Ensure service provider service levels are met and maintained. Participate in major strategy development and special projects with Portfolio Managers and Head of Corporate Real Estate in North America.
Job Accountabilities:
1. Manage development of Real Estate strategies.
2. Develop, lead, and manage portfolio strategies for our locations in North America. This will require a combination of push i.e. business led and pull i.e. Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management (CRE&FM ) led initiatives.
3. Develop and maintain best practice processes and models to ensure that analysis and implementation of portfolio strategies are implemented in a consistent way on a global and regional basis. The analysis will include:
a. At building, metro and portfolio levels to establish opportunities and challenges through understanding the influence of key business drivers.
b. Capacity modeling; overlay future business headcount projections against available space to forecast future office workspace requirements.
c. Strategic options & what-if scenario modeling production of high quality strategy papers that include straw man options for discussion and refinement with the business.
4. Insure overall delivery of Service Provider services.
5. Assist North America Head of CRE in Regional projects that cross all geographies in North America.
6. Develop and use KPI dashboards and work with customers to advance RE strategy.
7. Work with Service Provider to enhance delivery and customer centricity.
8. Develop network of contacts in the industry to ensure that Zurich are at the forefront of the latest thinking.
9. Collaborate with the CRE ICT team to influence the creation and maintenance of appropriate systems, tools and data to enable the portfolio to be analyzed and opportunites be effectively communicated.
10. Provide the lead in developing benchmarking strategies for CRE.
11. Develop analysis and presentations to assist the Head of CRE in North America.
Job Qualifications
Basic Requirements-
8 Or More Years Of Related Experience in:
1. Extensive corporate real estate experience
2. Significant experience in office leasing and transaction management
3. Proven analytical, finance and strategic skills
4. Demonstrated understanding of real estate markets and maket influences
5. Able to effectively interface with the business, finance and leadership teams
6. Enhanced corporate strategic planning
7. Demonstrate working knowledge of financial reporting for real estate

Bachelors Degree +
