Paid The Finance department at Leviton is looking for a summer intern to assist with the monthly close and consolidation, external audits of employee benefit plans, innovation, and challenging projects to help reshape the future of the department.
ResponsibilitiesDuties include but are not limited to:
Assist in preparing the monthly close and consolidation packageAnalyze the monthly close package by performing various account reconciliations and FLUX analysesAssist with the annual employee benefit plan auditAssist accounting managers with reports, etcAssist with A/P & A/R functions as neededMeet with the VP of Finance to discuss projects and schedulesAssist with treasury functions including bank reconciliationsRespond to routine questions related to area of responsibilityPerform miscellaneous administrative duties as neededAssess the department for possible areas of automation and innovation, including exposure to Power BIQualificationsCompleted at least two Accounting courses at college levelA working knowledge of Excel spreadsheet application is also requiredEducation & ExperienceMust be currently enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing an associate degree or higher at the sophmore level or aboveDesired Major:

He began by manufacturing gas mantle tips and selling them on a push cart on the busy streets of Manhattan.
