Overview:
TRC is seeking an entry level Data Entry Specialist for our Melville, NY office.
As one of our Data Entry Specialists you will work in a hybrid environment supporting consumer energy efficiency initiatives.
Your passion for sustainability energizes your commitment to guiding consumer actions and demands on our energy grid.
Your data entry skills and strong attention to detail allows you to provide the customers with the information needed to participate in various energy saving initiatives and obtain qualifying rebates.
You provide thorough reviews of customer applications and coordinate with your team to achieve on-time submittals.
Your desire to succeed helps drive TRC to the next level in reducing the demand on our energy grid.
Responsibilities:
Supports various projects by reviewing required documents for accuracy and completeness, as well as verifying that applications are in accordance with program procedures and requirements.
Assists with project and program administration by inputting and updating relevant data points.
Responsible for the technical analysis of applications and the creation of rebate projects in various programs.
Accurate and timely data entry work.
Covers the office reception/front desk and associated duties on a rotational basis.
Ensures outstanding customer and contractor satisfaction.
Participates in local Long Island, NY marketing events and conferences.
Supports additional office responsibilities and projects, as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Microsoft software experience, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to multi-task to support concurrent priorities.
Aptitude to effectively communicate, schedule meetings, and track tasks through completion.
Proven ability to perform well in both a team and an individual environment.
Reliable transportation to the office and events.
Valid unencumbered US Driver's license.
