POSITION
Summary:
The Graphics Production Specialist uses knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets.
This position generates and manipulates images and text into seamless graphics and signage from concept to final product completion.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate digitally printed and vinyl graphics Prepare layouts and designs of the graphics Handle out-sourcing of specialty jobs Duties include the installation and application of signs and graphics Maintain graphic files and records Provide inventory control for department Perform general maintenance of graphic printers and equipment Research new equipment and materials as directed by management Provide direction to show site installation crews Contact clients upon request for clarity to ensure superior quality service Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in our organization REQUIREMENTS:
2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator Proficient with Microsoft Office Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a graphics production environment Must be able to work off premises when required Minimal travel required.
