Our Life Insurance Sales Advisor Opportunity:
We have an extensive book of Wealth Management clients where opportunities exist for life and long-term care insurance sales.
We also have many relationships with other professionals and organizations in the accounting, legal, P&C insurance, and Non-Profit sectors that have provided referrals in the past and are a resource for additional leads with some effort around nurturing these relationships.
Along with proactive marketing and networking, our client base and strategic partnerships relationships all provide opportunity for revenue generation.
Additionally, opportunities for insurance sales will come through our Financial Planners as they develop comprehensive plans for new clients, leveraging the Life Insurance Sales Advisor.
You will be given access to our existing book of wealth management clients as well as retirement plan participants to source for life and long-term care opportunities, which means you will have the opportunity to generate revenue right off the bat.
We will also provide you with a team of back office and support staff to handle administrative tasks and paperwork, allowing you more time in front of clients to build relationships and uncover new business opportunities.
What You Will Do as Our Life Insurance Sales Advisor We are looking for someone who has a solid base of knowledge when it comes to life insurance products but who is also hungry and eager to not only produce but also learn all there is to know about more complex life insurance strategies and advanced planning.
The successful candidate will also have an opportunity, over time, to further build out our Life Insurance Division by hiring and training additional Life Advisors.
Other typical responsibilities of our Life Insurance Sales Advisor include ? Develop and maintain a client base; seeking new prospects via referrals and other methods ? Consult with clients and prospective clients to assess insurance needs, budget, financial planning goals, and other relevant details ? Provide quotes and coverage recommendations, assisting with long-term planning ? Assist with completion of applications and other necessary paperwork as well as obtain underwriting approval ? Deliver policy and plan documents ? Follow up with clients on a periodic basis to assess financial, family, and other changes that may warrant modification of coverage What You Will Receive In Return ? New York State Life, Health, and Disability insurance licenses ? FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 registrations preferable or willingness and ability to attain ? Desire to build and manage a team of life insurance experts and other support staff Job Types:
