A Quest Diagnostics Subsidiary is the nation's largest physician and Laboratory Company focused on providing anatomic pathology, cancer diagnostic and healthcare information services to physicians, hospitals, national clinical laboratories and managed care organizations. The company presently operates in 24 states and provides medical services through outpatient pathology laboratories, hospital inpatient laboratories and outpatient surgery centers.
AmeriPath is seeking a General Pathologist for our NY/NJ Lab. The chosen candidate will join a broader team of 15 pathologists who have great comradery. Candidates who have experience signing out in Gastrointestinal Pathology, GYN Pathology, Breast Pathology and Cytopathology are encouraged to apply.
MD or DO degree plus accredited pathology residency.
Must be board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.
2-3 years post residency experience required
Ability to spend consecutive hours with continued focus, interpreting tissues and cellular preparations through a microscope.
Must hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the states of NY and NJ.
Must hold active privileges in facility where any inpatient work is interpreted.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
